NDB Bank is proud to announce its remarkable success at the 39th Mercantile Athletic Championship, held from 9^th to 11^thof August, 2024, at the prestigious Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo. Competing against athletes from 82 member companies and 52 institutions registered with the Mercantile Athletic Association, NDB Bank secured an impressive 23 awards, marking a significant achievement in the bank's athletic endeavors.

The championship, which has now been officially added to the World Athletic calendar, featured a wide array of track and field events, including high jump, long jump, hurdles, javelin throw, shot put, 100 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters. NDB Bank's athletes excelled in these competitions, demonstrating exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

The Mercantile Athletic Championship is a prestigious event conducted by the Mercantile Athletic Federation under international competition rules, with the use of advanced technology and equipment. NDB Bank's outstanding performance at this championship is a testament to the dedication and hard work of its employees, who continue to strive for excellence both on and off the field.
